When do we say this research is novel???? And if found novel, what are the best procedures or steps for winning a Nobel prize????

Scientific novelty

A research is considered as novel when it contributes something genuinely new to afield of knowledge, not just repeating, repackaging or applying existing knowledge.

A research study is novel when it presents something genuinely new, such as a new knowledge, a new method or approach, a new application, or it leads to a breakthrough or leap in understanding, rather than an incremental step. The steps toward winning a Nobel Prize in research include making a groundbreaking discovery,  validation and impact assessment of the research, building reputation and credibility, and a consistent contribution.

There are many possible solutions for the scientific novelty question in my opinion. A research can reveal a novel physical/chemical/biological law, or a completely new psychological/sociological phenomenon. A given experimental laboratory setup can be organized and developed for the first time, for example combining a suite of conditions and treatments to submit a given tissue culture to. Research on a natural pattern or process can even be done in a given locale for the first time, and in some scientific endeavours like geology and ecology this is considered novel. However, these can be considered different degrees of novelty, as the first ones could be ranked as more important and the lattter ones less so. As far as I am aware, for a Nobel prize contest the first ones are of course needed, and the latter ones would not count at all. It is very difficult if nigh impossible to ensure a list of best procedures to win a Nobel prize. Winners life stats and histories paint a very varied picture, from a full scientific life spent after one single discovery to nearly accidental ones. To simplify, I would first suggest choosing a career for which there is a Nobel prize available, not all scientific (Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, Peace and Economy). Second, join a University known for high standards and previous prizes, with third being join a research laboratory with a principal investigator known for high standards and previous prizes!
