Is shifting scientific meetings from offline to online mode doing more harm than benefit?

I'm wondering, if the EDC such as bisphenol A, was chlorinated during the water treatment process, is the toxicity of formed disinfection by-products (DBPs) from EDCs smaller than the EDCs itself?
Many studies have been conducted on the DBP formation potential of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC), however, the toxicity comparison (before and after the chlorination process) was not comprehensive and limited.

How many samples do you need to analyze for effective blood plasma products quality control?
A blood bank is set up with a laboratory for the preparation of blood components. Product quality control (e.g. plasma sterility) should be performed. How many samples do you need to analyze for effective control? How do you calculate this number? Does it vary depending on the total number of components produced?
